Giovanna is a Biologist and Microbiologist with a Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, USA. She currently works in the Department of Design at Universidad de Los Andes, where she is creating a minor in Biodesign.
Martin is an anthropologist and designer, he recognizes the importance of understanding the context and the power of collaboration to solve challenges communities and organizations face. He has experience in social research, participatory design, and human-centered design.
Nathalie is an Interactive Media Designer at Talentum Line. Her work is guided by a strong belief in design as a problem-solving tool, and as a playful and human-centered method for improving the connections between people and the products and they use.
Veneta is a long-time educator and startup mentor for innovation-driven and purpose-driven companies. She holds a Ph.D. in Management and is author of many scientific articles including two highly-acclaimed books. Her interests are in the domains of strategy, entrepreneurship, internationalization, and social transformation.
Andrea is a communication designer with a minor in biology. Se currently works at Universidad de Los Andes in projects that seek to strengthen STEM education through Design Thinking. She is strongly interested in strategic planning and in the intersection between science and creative disciplines and believes design is a bridge to detonate collaborative and interdisciplinary work that generates relevant solutions.
