Dr. Greg Poe is the founder and CEO of Logos Technologies, LLC, a defense and technology company he established in 1996 and which now has offices in Virginia and North Carolina.Dr. Poe has a very rich background in defense research. In 1978, he joined the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where he worked in applied mathematics associated with remote sensing. He left Livermore in 1988 to join Photon Research Associates, then became an independent consultant in 1990, working for the Strategic Defense Initiative Organization, the Defense Airborne Reconnaissance Office, and other Department of Defense organizations.

John E. Marion, Ph.D.

As president of Logos Technologies, LLC, Dr. John Marion manages the company’s daily operations.Prior to joining Logos, Dr. Marion worked at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) for more than 20 years. There, he lead the Sonoma Persistent Surveillance Program, which developed the world’s first wide-area motion imagery (WAMI) system for persistent surveillance. That WAMI sensor would eventually be deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan as Constant Hawk.Dr. Marion developed numerous advanced technologies for the intelligence community and for such military exercises as Top Cover, Blue Grass, Blue Devil, Empire Challenge and Trident Spectre.

Before joining Logos Technologies in 2002, where he now serves as VP of Technology, Dr. David Fields was a staff physicist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. His initial assignments were in experimental nuclear physics, specifically, detection and sensor hardware and the analysis of complex multidimensional data. He then expanded on that expertise, working on such projects as laser plasma interactions, weapons physics, x-ray lasers, land mine detection, and hyperspectral technology.
