Everloop by NOS is a sustainable toothbrush that has been designed with recycled polypropylene for the handle and compostable bamboo for the bristles. The aim is to curb the plastic waste generated by ordinary discarded toothbrushes.
With a lifespan of usually 3 months, most ordinary toothbrushes that are made of plastic, end up in landfills or the oceans, and pollute the environment, since they are not easily biodegradable. The process of recycling these toothbrushes is energy-intensive as well.
NOS has addressed this problem with Everloop, recyclable polypropylene toothbrushes that come with 8 sets of bamboo bristles, and can be used for 24 months or 2 years, by changing the bristles conveniently every 3 months. An innovative clipping design has been incorporated in the brushes to ensure this.
By creating these biodegradable and compostable bristles and also ensuring that no additional fuel is wasted on the frequent supply of brushes every 3 months, NOS aims to reduce the negative impact of plastic toothbrushes on the environment. It also packages the brushes in an environment-friendly manner by using 100% compostable thermoformed paper pulp. The brushes are available in different colours and come with smart wall-holders too.
NOS, the developer of Everloop brushes, focuses on industrial design, retail and branding projects that create a social impact. It is the recipient of many international awards, which include three Red Dot awards. NOS works with start-ups, MNCs as well as NGOs. Ford, Coca Cola, Adidas and Microsoft are among its many clients.
Everloop toothbrushes are expected to get launched in the market soon and will be beneficial to all those who are looking for an environment-friendly oral healthcare product.
