Carlos graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico City and came to the UK to do his PhD at the University of Cambridge. He specialised in microwave induced pyrolysis and how it could be used to recycle complex waste streams. After his PhD, he continued to develop the process, obtaining a patent for the recycling of laminated packaging before founding Enval in 2006.
Martin has more than 25 years’ experience in the compound semiconductor materials industry. As an active business angel, Martin has invested in twelve early-stage companies in the technology sector. He serves on the Board of several companies, many of which are commercializing novel technologies for producing or processing materials.
Hugh qualified as a chartered accountant in 1978, and since then has worked for British Petroleum, Robert Fleming and Co, Dresdner Kleinwort Benson and NW Brown in diverse positions based around strategy, planning, MI, marketing and corporate finance. As a real evangelist for cleantech, Hugh is Chairman of Cambridge Cleantech and has a large network of contacts in this area, serving on the Board of several environmental technology companies.
