Gulftech owned, Sinclair International, is a world leader in produce labels, label machinery, and technical support, which specializes in fresh produce labels ranging from clear, tabbed and non-tabbed, and has pioneered the development of patented technology of automatic high-speed fruit labeling systems for individual pieces of fresh produce. EcoLabel®, developed by the company, is a food-safe, certified compostable label suitable for fruits and vegetables. 

Made from a blend of thermoplastic starch and biodegradable synthetic polymers, the EcoLabel® is designed to disintegrate withing 12 weeks or less and is compatible with all types of loose produce, including organic lines. 

What makes the EcoLabel® unique is that it is fully compostable, from facestock, to adhesive to the ink, which meets the internationally recognized standard EN 13432:2000. The labeling solution is also independently certified by TÜV Austria under OK compost and Seedling certification

The EcoLabel® can be applied via high-speed, tray, compact pattern and on-line machine application. It is available in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, provides excellent conformity and labeling performance and removes cleanly in one piece, without leaving any adhesive residue.
