They develop an edible food coating solution for your fruits and veggies. This natural coating acts as a second skin for products and reduces their breathing, extending the shelf life of protected foods by several weeks.

Unlike packaging, a coating is eatable. It is a thin film that surrounds the product and gives it additional properties. It is invisible to the naked eye and protects the fruit or vegetable from biological attacks.

The product can be ingested without posing any health risks (the film can also easily be removed by water). Food coatings are positioned as a viable alternative to plastic packaging since they provide both physical and biological protection.

The coating fights against mold and bacterial attacks, uses natural products, is biodegradable, and can be safely eaten or removed from the product. This solution can be directly implemented in any agricultural cooperatives production chain without needs of any supplementary equipment.
