Description

In The Philippines, there is extensive collection of MLP, but it is considered a very low value material that is then converted in cement factories, with questionable environmental impact.  The collection (buy-back) programs are fragmented, with many programs run by different companies and NGO’s. Lack of economic value makes the collection and upcycling of littered and landfill bound multi-layer laminates expensive and not scalable. The objective of this Greenhouse is to find affordable and scalable solutions for upcycling MLP waste in the Philippines.
