Waste Plastic Pyrolysis Plant

APChemi (APC) — a leading company focused on recycling plastics via pyrolysis — created a video discussing a plastic waste pyrolysis plant operated by a company called Alternative Energy Systems Limited (AESL) based in Kenya, Africa.  Raj Kent is the founder of AESL (circa April 2017). Kent founded AESL to help solve issues surrounding waste and energy in Kenya. It takes a lot of work to get an entire community working together to solve an issue such as this one while simultaneously providing jobs to local residents. In this video, Kent talks about his career history, how he ended up in Kenya with this pyrolysis project, as well as his challenges in educating others about this technology that processes trash into fuel.

Learn about the step-by-step process of converting waste to energy with Raj Kent and his project in Kenya in the 4:30 minute video below
