Sustainability Defined, episode 40 takes it back to school. What can university campuses do for sustainability? How do you bring sustainability to such a large institute such as Penn State?  What exactly does sustainability mean for a university? How is the campus's encouraging sustainability? These questions and more are discussed with Penn State University Sustainability Officer, a Professor and some students on the campus. The podcast reaches into the carbon footprint of universities and their major role in advancing sustainability. He discusses how they implement a 'bottom-up approach' and what this means as well as the push back he takes on.
